Artist Bec Sandridge will be in Shepparton as part of the Face The Music Roadshow.

Australian contemporary music summit, Face The Music, is bringing new skills and connections to Shepparton’s music scene as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.

The Face The Music Roadshow will be a chance for people to network and learn from a panel of music industry professionals, including artist Bec Sandridge, Fazerdaze manager Ash Sambrooks and Noble Monks’ Lydia Greenwood.

Face The Music Roadshow project officer Vito Lucarelli, who grew up in Shepparton, said it was the first time the company had done a regional roadshow and was excited to bring it to the Goulburn Valley.

‘‘The session will be a good chance to workshop ideas and to ask questions,’’ he said.

‘‘It’s also a good chance for people to network within their local community.’’

Mr Lucarelli said it was important to give people in regional areas the chance to engage with masterclasses like the one Face The Music was offering.

He said often people struggled to make it to classes in Melbourne, so it was important to get out to different communities.

The Face The Music Roadshow masterclass will be at Noble Monks, 20/126 Maude St, Shepparton, from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, September 28.
