Shepparton's Indie-Rose Davis, 5, is looking forward to KidsFest this weekend.

Excited: Shepparton's Indie-Rose Davis, 5, is looking forward to KidsFest this weekend.

SPC Ardmona KidsTown will be a hub of activity this weekend as KidsFest brightens up the adventure playground.

The annual KidsFest has continued to be a popular event for many and attracts hundreds of children and their families each year.

SPC Ardmona KidsTown co-ordinator Tracey Toy said there would be a lot on offer across the two days.

‘‘There’s something in every corner,’’ she said.

‘‘It’s the start of the school holidays and what a way to start.’’

KidsFest will feature the return of Wild Action Zoo, with their many native animals, and Donkey the Dragon.

There will also be giant games and tenpin bowling, a photo booth zone, miniature train rides and showbags. A number of high school students will be performing on stage.

Ms Toy said this year’s theme was all about music, dance and getting children active.

She said KidsFest had continued to provide families with a cheap and fun day out and large-scale items like the ferris wheel and scavenger hunt were sure to be the highlights.

KidsFest will be at SPC Ardmona KidsTown, 7287 Midland Hwy, Mooroopna, on Saturday and Sunday, October 23 and 24, from 10am to 4pm.

Entry is $2 per person.
